Download tt for Mac: a multi-model AI client for macOS

tt brings several AI services into one Mac client. Install the Universal build on macOS 14 or later, connect the provider accounts you choose, and use one model, compare several answers, or let models collaborate in Team Mode.

Current direct package: tera-1.1.1.dmg. It is listed as a Universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs and requires macOS 14.0 or later.

Get the official Mac version

Direct Mac download

Download the current DMG directly from app.teramoby.com. This route is useful when you want the package published on the official tt website.

Mac App Store

tt also has an App Store listing where the Mac version is available. Store availability, compatibility details, and the version offered can vary by country or region and may change over time.

Only download tt from the official links above. The wider download page also covers iPhone, iPad, and Android. If a store listing is unavailable in your region, that does not change the published system requirement or guarantee that another distribution route will work with your account or device.

Mac system requirements

The current website does not claim compatibility with macOS 13 or earlier. Provider availability, model access, regional rules, quotas, and charges are determined by the provider accounts you connect.

How to install the direct DMG

Download the official package

Select “Download tt for Mac” above and wait for tera-1.1.1.dmg to finish downloading.

Open the disk image

Open the downloaded DMG and follow the installation instructions presented by macOS and the disk image.

Confirm the source if prompted

If macOS shows a security or verification message, first confirm that the file came from app.teramoby.com, then follow the operating system’s guidance. Do not disable macOS security protections.

Launch tt and configure a model

Open tt, go to Settings → Model Configuration, add the required credential for a supported service, choose a model, and save.

BYOK: connect your own AI services

tt is a bring-your-own-key client. It does not include a model subscription. You obtain credentials from the AI providers or managed platforms you want to use and remain responsible for their billing, quotas, model permissions, terms, and regional availability.

You can start with one complete provider configuration. Add more services when you want to compare answers or use multi-model workflows. The supported AI services guide explains the current integrations and credential types; the configuration list shown in the installed app remains the source of truth.

Use one model or several

Standard chat

With one configured service, tt can show that model’s response directly. With several complete configurations, standard chat can collect model answers and use the selected summarizer to organize them into one result.

Team Mode

Team Mode gives participating models a shared discussion. They can add context, challenge an assumption, respond to earlier messages, or stay quiet when they have nothing useful to add.

These modes suit different tasks. Standard chat is useful for a quick response, side-by-side material, or a synthesized answer. Team Mode is designed for questions that benefit from critique, trade-off analysis, and several models building on one another.

Compare model answers responsibly

Multiple answers can reveal disagreements, different assumptions, or missing considerations, but agreement between models is not proof. Models can share the same error or reinforce an incorrect premise. For a fair comparison, use the same prompt, context, output constraints, and evaluation criteria across models.

The AI model comparison guide provides a repeatable workflow for evaluating relevance, factual support, reasoning, clarity, and uncertainty without inventing a universal “best” model. Verify consequential medical, legal, financial, security, or other high-stakes claims against reliable sources.

Privacy on your Mac

Conversations, provider configurations, and preferences are stored as app data on your device. Provider credentials are stored in the device’s secure system storage rather than ordinary files as plain text. When you request an answer, the necessary prompt and context still go to the AI services you selected under their own privacy and retention policies.

Multi-model synthesis can send completed model replies to the synthesizing service. Team Mode can include earlier shared discussion context in later requests. When Online Search is active, a concise query derived from your prompt may also be sent through the search flow described in the Privacy Policy. Read the plain-language BYOK guide before using sensitive information.

How to update tt on Mac

Direct DMG installation

This website does not state that the direct DMG includes an in-app updater. Return to this page to check the currently published package before replacing an installed copy.

App Store installation

Install updates through the App Store according to the update settings on your Mac. The listing and version visible to you can depend on your store region.

Before reinstalling or troubleshooting by removing the app, consider your local conversations, settings, and credentials. Do not assume that deleting an app is required for a normal update.

Mac download FAQ

Does tt support Apple Silicon and Intel Macs?

Yes. The current direct Mac package is published as a Universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel. It requires macOS 14.0 or later.

Is tt free to download?

tt is free to download and use. AI provider API calls are billed separately by the providers you choose, according to their own pricing and account rules.

Can I use tt with only one AI model?

Yes. One complete provider and model configuration is enough to begin a single-model chat. Configure several services for comparison, synthesis, or Team Mode.

Does BYOK mean tt works fully offline?

No. BYOK means you control the provider accounts and credentials. Cloud models still need the prompt and required context to be sent to their services over the network.

What should I do if the Mac App Store listing is unavailable?

App Store availability can vary by region and change over time. You can review the official direct DMG on this page, provided your Mac meets the stated requirements. Do not use unofficial download mirrors.

Where can I get more help?

Read the main tt FAQ for setup, API key, pricing, local-data, and multi-model questions. Support contact details are provided in the site footer.
